We've all been navigating uncharted territories during this time, but now more than ever, it's a time to come together (even though we can't be bear hugging like usual). This month we've come together virtually through Facebook. Though The Rising Tide Society has shifted the conversation to Coronavirus, we felt it was still important to speak to the original topic, Booking & Sales Strategies, while being sensitive to the upheaval that many of us are experiencing.

Christian and Kristen are the husband and wife team behind Dearly Beloved Weddings. They're high school sweethearts who are passionate about capturing authentic moments and creating a memorable and impactful experience for their couples from start to finish.
Having photographed at least 300+ hundred weddings since they started shooting together in 2013, they've definitely gained a lot of experience in the wedding industry and have honed in on their sales strategies while successfully adapting to the ever-changing sales platforms like The Knot, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
In the past three years, the Dearly Beloved Weddings team has also expanded by hiring associates and doubled the number of bookings they're able to take on per year; 65 bookings (and counting) in 2020 and 30 bookings already for 2021.
Christian and Kristen also have a big heart and passion for teaching and community, especially within the wedding industry. They truly value genuine connection not only with their couples but their fellow small business owners and entrepreneur friends as well.
Some other ventures they're embarking on include a multi-media business, Prevailed Studios, where they offer commercial and graphic design services.
They are also recently getting started on an e-commerce business to see how their sales strategies and marketing skills can be applied elsewhere.
And if they don't have enough to do, Christian also plays in the band Acoustic Pursuit in his "free time"... and when they're not busy with the entrepreneur life, they're cuddling their miniature dachshund, Leia.
